SERVOLUTION 2O21 SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

  • Bring candy donations to church with you to help support our annual Candy Outreach that will be on October 31st. 

    We will be collecting candy Sept. 12th & 19th.

    Please place your donations in the cans by the door.

  • Rays of Hope meets a need in our community that we may not think about. Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre is a community outreach of Hospice of Midland. Rays of Hope is passionate about meeting the unique needs of grieving children and their families. The center serves children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care or other painful transition. We look forward to serving with them!

    • We have room for 15 Volunteers
    • Meet @ Rays of Hope @ 6:30PM
    • 900 West Wall Street, Midland Texas 79701
    • We will help do anything they need from us, likely duties will be cleaning and organizing.
  • A ministry dear to our hearts, Breaking Bread is a local non-profit organization that provides delicious (and nutritious!)  food and a sense of community for the under-resourced of Midland, Texas. We always enjoy serving with them!

    • We have room for 10 Volunteers
    • Meet @ Breaking Bread @ 5PM
    • 410 E. Florida Ave, Midland, TX 79701
    • You will help prepare, serve, and clean up dinner for the Breaking Bread Guests.  
    • All food and supplies are provided.
    • If this opportunity is full, please help us with the Fall Church Cleaning
  • Let's Love on our Own! You may not have noticed, we did not have our annual Spring Cleaning this year. We would love your help tidying up and organizing around the church and storage areas.

    • We have room for all Volunteers, many hands make light work.
    • Meet @ theORCHARDchurch @ 6PM
    • We will clean and organize specific areas in the church with those area leaders giving directions.
    • All supplies are provided.
  • What an opportunity! We can't wait to love on this special ministry here in Midland! Kaleidoscope mobilizes God’s people to share the Gospel and join God where He is at work in South-East Midland through mentoring and afterschool programming.  https://midlandkm.com

    • We have room for all Volunteers, many hands make light work. 
    • Meet @ Kaleidoscope Ministries @ 6:30PM
    • 502 E Nobles Midland, TX 79701
    • We will help do anything they need from us, likely duties will be cleaning and organizing.
  • We love our firefighters and we want them to know it! This is an annual event that we do every year!

    • We have room for all Volunteers, many hands make light work. 
    • Meet @ theORCHARDchurch @ 6PM
    • We will all pack bags of breakfasts to take to each station.
    • After the bags are packed, the Volunteers will split into groups and deliver the breakfasts to each station.
    • We encourage you to invite the Firefighters to church with us and pray for them if they would like. 
    • All food and supplies are provided.
    • For those not attending this event, we encourage you to write a note of love and support on the provided ORCHARDchurch note cards. These cards will be delivered with the bags.
  • This is a new opportunity for Servolution and one we are excited for! We will be cooking and serving dinner to the Police Officers on duty.

    • We have room for 20 Volunteers
    • You may also donate a side or dessert, Please check the box on the form if you plan to bring something.
    • Meet @ theORCHARDchurch @ 5pm
    • Help load up tables and chairs and supplies
    • Setup for cooking and serving Burgers and Fixings for 40-60 people. Try to have dinner ready about 6:30PM.
    • Clean up and leave the station cleaner than you found it.
    • All supplies and food will be provided.
    • For those not attending this event, we encourage you to write a note of love and support on the provided ORCHARDchurch note cards. These cards will be delivered with dinner.
  • This is an exciting way to show God's love and a first for Servolution. This is an ALL-DAY opportunity, you can choose to serve the hours that work for you. 

    • We have room for all Volunteers, many hands make light work. 
    • We have a loving family that needs cleaning and repairs around their home.
    • We will meet @ theORCHARDchurch @ 8am
    • We will carpool & caravan to Andrews, TX
    • You might want to bring gloves, yard cleaning equipment, painting tools and basic tools. More information about these needs will be communicated to the people who sign-up to serve for this opportunity. 
    • Materials and supplies will be provided.
    • Please check the box on the form if you would like to have childcare so you can serve; how many children and what times.
