AUG 28TH - LESSONS IN JOY

The Joy of The Truth

We can not trust our feelings to be synonymous with facts. THe biggest mistake people make when dealing with difficult feelings is accepting them as true.

By agreeing with God's truth about ourselves, we can avoid falling into the trap of self-deception believing those things that we feel like believing whether or not they have been fact checked against God's word.

Feelings are data that you must filter through your reason. Feelings can be deceptive if they are not evaluated in light of the facts and spiritual truth associated with them.

You must remember that emotions are only subjective indicators of objective experience. Today, remember and apply, when your interpretations change about a situation, your emotions change. That means you are not a victim of your emotions, you can shape them by the way you choose to think. Your job is to keep the emotional spiral pointing upward.
